ALONG SIDE REFIT - CCGS MATTHEW

To provide labour, parts, material, and equipment to carry out
the alongside refit on and for CCGS Matthew in accordance with
specification No. 11-M019-001-3 while the vessel is alongside at
the Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP),
Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA),
Chapter Ten Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1, however, it is subject to
the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) and will be limited to
suppliers in Eastern Canada in accordance with Shipbuilding,
Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19).

A bidders' conference will be held at 1:00 PM, 18 April 2011,
onboard the vessel at the Bedford Institue of Oceanography in
Dartmouth, N.S. The vessel will be available for viewing from 8
AM the day of the conference.

The Contractor must have an ISO 9000 or equivalent Quality
Program in place for this type of work.

The Government of Canada reserves the right to negotiate with
suppliers on any procurement.

WORK PERIOD:

Commencement 4 May 2011;    
Completion 6 June 2011.
