	ROCK CLIMBING / HIKING COURSE Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: The bidder must supply Canadian goods and/or services Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: ROCK CLIMBING / HIKING COURSE W2952-090004/A Mitchell, Richard Telephone No. - (250) 363-3981 Fax No. - (250) 363-3344 On behalf of the Department of National Defence, Vernon Military Camp, the provision of all labour, equipment, materials and transportation for the delivery of two (2) Alpine Rock Climbing and Hiking programs in accordance with the following dates and Cadet numbers for each program as specified in the Statement of Work contained in the solicitation document. Services are to be provided during the following periods: i) Alpine Rock Climbing / Hiking Program from 20 – 24 July 2009 inclusive to accommodate 33 Cadets and 6 Staff; ii: Alpine Rock Climbing / Hiking Program from 27 – 31 July 2009 inclusive to accommodate 33 Cadets and 6 Staff. The Programs are to be conducted in several venues including Skaha Bluffs located at Penticton and Cathedral Provincial Park B.C. Canada, which is an approximate one-hour drive from Penticton. Mandatory Technical Criteria (i) The proposed resource(s) must be qualified to provide the services in accordance with the standards established by the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides. (ii) Must have recent experience with up to three projects of a similar scope within the last five (5) years. (iii) Must be capable of providing one (1) guide for every five (5) cadets. This Procurement is Limited to Canadian Services. For the purpose of Contractor selection a "best value" criteria will be employed (technical merit, managerial content and price) rather than selection based on technical/managerial or price only.
