DND-12/0019139 – Instructor of Applied Ethics and Decision Making Tools Course - Request for Proposal (RFP)

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for an instructor possessing an advanced level of knowledge of the major ethical theories and their application in workplace environments and a demonstrated teaching experience.

The requirement includes the delivery of Director – Defence Ethics Programme “Applied Ethics and Decision Making Tools” course curriculum, content (e.g. instructor’s manual, notes, presentation slides, templates) and materials (e.g. student handbook, reference materials, background readings, handouts) to a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 30 participants, with an optimum number of 16 participants, of military and civilian personnel in DND and the CF from the National Capital Region (NCR). Details of the requirement are outlined in Request for Proposal (RFP), Annex A – Statement of Work.

It is intended to award a two (2) year contract, with the option to extend for three (3) one-year option years, at the Crown’s discretion. The English version of the course will be delivered once per month and the French version once every two months.

Where this notice and the RFP differs, the RFP will prevail.

The Department of National Defence reserves the right not to award a Contract, regardless of the responses it receives.
