Public Works and Government Services Canada is soliciting bids
for the partial renovation of the 1st Floor at 166 Frederick St.
Kitchener, Ontario. The work will include the following:
retrofitting the main lobby and converting it into office space,
public space & the shared boardroom, relocating the Cashier's
Booth, removing the Vault, converting two offices into the
Storage Room and as well other minor construction work to
accommodate the new layout. Mechanical, electrical and cabling
modifications are required to suit the new layout. The length
of the project is 28 weeks from date of award. A contract will
be awarded to the lowest compliant bidder.

A site visit is scheduled for November 9, 2009 at 166 Frederick
St. Kitchener, Ontario at 10:00 am in the main lobby. The
estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost
category: $250,001 - $500,000.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
