Notice Description

	BALCONY RAILINGS AND DIVIDER REPLACEMENT - 395 SOMERSET ST., OTTAWA, ON Request for Bids Replace Balcony Railings at 395 Somerset Street, Ottawa Project No. CW10-13766 General Contractors and Firms specializing in high-rise balcony railing replacement are invited to bid on this balcony railing replacement project at 395 Somerset Street. The construction period is expected to begin by September 2010. The general scope of work includes:  Replace all balcony railings.  Replace all balcony privacy panels.  Minor balcony concrete repairs.  Minor repairs at railing anchors. The tender and bid documents are available electronically on MERX. A Job Showing will be held at 1:30:00 PM, Thursday, August 5th. Attendance at the job showing is strongly encouraged. Submissions will be accepted strictly through electronic bid submission on MERX prior to 2:00:00 PM eastern standard time, Wednesday, August 18th, 2010. Faxed submissions will not be accepted. Late submissions will not be accepted and will be returned to the Proponent unopened. The Ottawa Community Housing Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received in response to this Request for Bids.
