Description

This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by the City of North Bay (“the City]”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Cassells Street Reconstruction Consultant Services, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
Consulting engineering services are required for the reconstruction and widening of Cassells Street from King Street to King’s Highway 11/17 including traffic signals, underground infrastructure, replacement of Chippewa Creek Bridge and the rehabilitation of Chippewa Creek.

Time Line

The project will begin upon approval of award by City Council. The tentative project schedule is outlined below with milestone events and dates:

Preliminary Design Complete                            October 31, 2018
Class B Construction Cost Estimate                  November 15, 2018
Completion of Detailed Design                          January 25, 2019
Acquisition of all Required Approvals                February 14, 2018
Tender Issue                                                      February 20, 2019
Tender Close                                                      March 13, 2019
Substantial Completion of Works                      November 15, 2019

This procurement is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA)
