Description

1. “This NPP is open to prequalified vendors in the Transportation Planning and LRT New Build Categories.

2. This Notice of Proposed Procurement (“NPP”) is issued by the City of Calgary for the purposes of informing potential suppliers about the upcoming competitive procurements:
Red Line LRT South Extension and 210 Ave Light Rail Vehicle’s (LRV)Maintenance & Storage Facility (MSF) Functional Planning Study
Functional Planning Study for the 52 Street East Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)
Functional Planning Study for the MAX Purple East Extension to City Limit

3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and will not create a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.

4. Anticipated Project Completion date December 2025.
