Notice Description

  Regional Newcomer Gateway Program Deliver in Saskatchewan

It is the intention of the Ministry of the Economy (ECON) to enter into agreements with the following agencies for the delivery of the Regional Newcomer Gateway (RNG) program from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018, with the possibility of an extension of two (2) additional one (1) year terms, subject to the mutual agreement of all parties:

Battlefords Immigration Resource Centre Inc. for the North Battleford Gateway Region
Catholic Social Services for the Lloydminster Gateway Region
Town of Tisdale for the Tisdale Gateway Region
The Humboldt Regional Newcomer Centre Inc. for the Humboldt Gateway Region
Moose Jaw Multicultural Council Inc. for the Moose Jaw Gateway Region
Southwest Newcomer Welcome Centre Inc. for the Swift Current Gateway Region
Southeast Advocates for Employment Inc. for the Estevan and Southeast Gateway Region
East Central Newcomer Welcome Centre Inc. for the Yorkton Gateway Region
Saskatoon Open Door Society Inc. for the Saskatoon Gateway Region
YWCA Prince Albert Inc. for the Prince Albert Gateway Region
Regina Open Door Society Inc. for the Regina Gateway Region

Service agreements will be established in December 2017, subject to the mutual agreement of all parties.

The RNG program provides a first-stop service to newcomers to Saskatchewan. The Gateways provide newcomers with general information and referrals to settlement and language training programs, public services and community resources in their community or region. Gateways serve a catchment area approximately 150 kilometers in radius from the hub centre in which they are located.

All amendments to the associated notice, including amended documents, plans and specifications (where applicable), are issued on Sasktenders. MERX asks that you refer to the Sasktenders notice for these amendments. MERX stipulates that potential bidders may also be required to register with the buying authority as a bidder/plan taker.
