Notice Description

	SkyTrain Customer and Operations Telecommunications (SCOT) Upgra Summary Details: Posting Summary South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (SCBCTA) also known as TransLink is responsible for planning, financing and operating the public transportation system throughout Metro Vancouver pursuant to the South Coast British Columbia. Project Summary TransLink seeks proposals from qualified contractors to provide (a) condition assessment to map out existing SCOT subsystems, components, interfaces, behaviours, and functions; (b) feasibility study to identify and evaluate different options for replacing or upgrading the SCOT system; (c) conceptual design of the recommended option for a modernized SCOT system; (d) a high-level implementation roadmap for the conceptual design; and (e) optional services that may be required by TransLink (at its sole discretion). All amendments to the associated notice, including amended documents, plans and specifications (where applicable), are issued on BC Bid. MERX asks that you refer to the BC Bid notice for these amendments. MERX stipulates that potential bidders may also be required to register with the buying authority as a bidder/plan taker.
