Nature of Requirements:

This amendment 001 is raised to remove electronic attachments and provide SOW as an amendment to the document.

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) has a requirement for the procurement of the Incident Alarm System at Atlantic Institution (Renous, NB), Millhaven Institution (Bath, ON), Saskatchewan Penitentiary (Prince Albert, SK), Edmonton Institution (Edmonton, AB) and Kent Institution (Agassiz, BC)

The work includes the supply, installation, testing etc. as described in the Statement of Work (SOW).

All the institutions are a maximum level security facility. Work will have to be accomplished with minimum disruption to the daily operation and security of the institution.

As this is a retender, there will be no mandatory site visit. CSC will, however, accommodate any bidders that would like to return to the site. Any such request must be provided to prior to December 21, 2017.

The work is requested to be completed within 30 weeks after contract award.

After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.

Note: This document contains a security requirement

On February 1, 2017, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) launched the new mandatory electronic fingerprint requirement. The new process applies to any organization that works or intends to work on Government of Canada contracts with security requirements that have been issued by or will be issued by PSPC. Bidder personnel must hold the security clearance identified in the solicitation document prior to Contract award. Learn more about the new process and find answers to questions at Mandatory electronic fingerprints.
