Notice Description

  RFP UNI06202017 BCEHS Uniform Requirements

BCEHS is currently sourcing their uniform items from multiple vendors. However, this RFP has been created with the intention of implementing a one source fully managed uniform program that will supply our paramedic employees with a customized uniform.
The important aspects of this uniform program consist of customized manufacturing, design, engineering, and technical assistance that will ensure BCEHS employees are supplied with the most up to date textiles, designs, quality, comfort, sizing, style trends and maximum safety protection. Inventory management and warehousing is required, ensuring that sufficient inventory levels are maintained to support the relevant lead times and service level requirements of each item, and that all uniform items are stored in a secure facility with restricted access that is located in Canada.
The provision of a web based uniform order processing and distribution system is essential to the success of the uniform program. All orders placed by BCEHS employees must be done via the use of an on-line catalogue and the uniform items will need to be delivered to the BCEHS Ambulance Station where the employee is assigned.
The successful proponent will also be required to manage and administer an employee uniform point system, where all uniform items will be assigned a point value and employees shall receive a yearly points allotment for their uniform orders.

All amendments to the associated notice, including amended documents, plans and specifications (where applicable), are issued on BC Bid. MERX asks that you refer to the BC Bid notice for these amendments. MERX stipulates that potential bidders may also be required to register with the buying authority as a bidder/plan taker. The contact information can be found within the notice abstract.
