Notice Description

  Thompson Nicola Regional District Savona High Lift Station Pump Replacement

Sealed tenders clearly marked "SAVONA HIGH LIFT STATION PUMP REPLACEMENT" will be received by Sean Curry, P. Eng. at the TRUE Consulting Office (Kamloops), 201-2079 Falcon Road, Kamloops, B.C. V2C 4J2 up to 2:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018. Tenders will be opened at the TRUE Consulting Office (Kamloops) at 2:00 p.m. local time on the tender closing date. The tender opening will not be open to the public. Tenders received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Emailed submissions will be accepted to scurry@true.bc.ca .

The project comprises the following:

    Remove two (2) existing pumps complete with discharge heads, pump columns and bowl assemblies.
    Remove two (2) existing concrete pump pedestals.
    Remove one (1) existing 50 HP electrical motor and re-install on new pump.
    Remove two (2) existing pump start-up valves with all related piping and electrical.
    Remove two (2) existing discharge pipes to existing pipe coupling connections.
    Supply and install two (2) new concrete pump pedestals with rebar reinforcement, anchor bolts, and sole plates to the pump manufacturer's specifications.
    Supply and install two (2) new pumps complete with discharge head, pump column, and bowl assembly. Include one (1) new 50 HP electrical motor and re-install one (1) existing 50 HP electrical motor. Note no pump hatches are present in the existing high lift station. A monorail beam is available.
    Supply and install two (2) new discharge laterals (length to suit).
    Supply and install two (2) vertical turbine air vacuum valves with air throttling device and pressure gauge assembly complete with isolation valves.
    Supply and install two (2) new pipe supports.
    Coordinate related wiring and electrical with Owner's electrical representative.
    Provide training and commissioning services. Contractor to provide start-up and commissioning services by a certified pump representative.

Tender documents may be obtained online from BC Bid. A Planholder Registration Form must be completed and emailed to TRUE Consulting (info@true.bc.ca) in order to receive any addendums and/or additional information regarding this tender. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
