Notice Description

  SCBA for Saanich Fire Department

Invitation to Request for Proposal: For "RFP 03/18 SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) for Saanich Fire Department". Request for Proposal documents have now been posted on the Saanich website at under "Selling to Saanich", under "Bid Opportunities"; or by contacting Purchasing Services at 250-475-5494, local 3481.

Scope of Work: The purpose of this RFP is to select one (1) qualified Proponent, with experience in supplying and supporting of Scott SCBA equipment for the Saanich Fire Department as outlined in this RFP document.

No substitutions of Make and Model will be accepted.
For additional details, see section 4.0 Scope of Work.
Section 5.0 outlines the evaluation process for selecting the Preferred Proponent. To receive full consideration, each Proposal should follow the instructions, requirements, format, and number of copies provided in Section 2.0.

It is anticipated that this RFP will result in the purchase of approximately 80% of the current inventory of Scott SCBA to replace specifically the NXG2 model with an ongoing supply, support and maintenance contract for a three (3) year term with an option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms upon mutual agreement.
