Notice Description

  Pipe Chase Asbestos Abatement

DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – #WA12978 – Pipe Chase Asbestos Abatement

The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to remove asbestos containing material from men’s and women’s pipe risers.

THE TENDER FORM AND ALL AMENDMENTS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH MERX DISTRIBUTION.

A Mandatory Site Meeting will be held at the following date, time and location.

Date: February 7, 2012

Time: 10:00 hrs

Location: Tunney's Pasture Building 16, 101 Goldenrod Driveway, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0K9

Bids from bidders who fail to attend the mandatory site meeting on time shall be declared invalid.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $87,977.00.

Bidders are advised that bid and contract security is required when the advertised project budget (estimated cost for this opportunity) is greater than $100,000.00. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193 (R-07-08)), paragraph 5.

The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.
