Notice Description

  Functional Program/Design Consultant for the Entrepreneurship Discovery and Innovation Hub Project

Saint Mary’s University (the “University”) is seeking proposals for Functional Programming, Planning and Design Services for the Entrepreneurship Discovery and Innovation Hub Project (the “Project”). The University intends to retain an architectural firm eligible to practice in the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada to provide the professional services. The purpose of this request for proposals ("RFP") is to select a functional program / design consultant (the “Consultant”) in accordance with the criteria set out in this document. The Project has been given approval to proceed with the functional program, concept design and cost estimate phase (the “Phase 1 Design”). Phases 2 and 3 (detailed design and construction) will proceed only when funding approval by the Strategic Infrastructure Fund occurs and is in accordance with the University’s Board of Governors (the “Board”) motion of April 26, 2016 . The requirement for the Consultant’s services after Phase 1 Design is conditional on a SIF award that meets the intent of the Board’s motion.
