Colliers Project Leaders is seeking the Services of a General Contractor.
Work of this Contract comprises safe decommissioning, abatement of designated substances, salvage of heritage carvings and demolition of the following buildings and associated infrastructure at the St Thomas Psychiatric hospital located in St. Thomas, Ontario:
.1 A total of 22 buildings including: B12145, B12146, B12147, B17903, B17911, B12120, B12123, B12124, B12125, B12126, B12127, B12128, B12129, B12130, B12131, B12132, B12133, B12134, B12135, B12136, B12137, B17901.
.2 2 tunnels that connect laundry building and power plant building to Elgin Norfolk building
.3 Removal of a portion of the tunnel form building B12120 towards Sunset Drive (in a Westward direction) and construction of a bulkhead on the segment to remain.
.4 Removal of legacy slabs, foundations and deleterious materials from former WWII buildings that were located on the site.
.5 Removal of site services (above grade and below grade)
.6 Separation of site services from operational facilities
.7 Land-forming of the site to generate fill material for backfilling voids and revegetation.
.8 Construction of new storm sewer to drain the remaining portion of the legacy service tunnel to remain under Sunset Dr.
