42-2026 - Restoration of Boulevard Street Cuts in North (West) Area

D2.          SCOPE OF WORK

D2.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of restoring multiple Cut Permits 
within boulevards, medians, and other grassed areas with sod and/or seed in the North (West) Area 
of the City of Winnipeg.

D2.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   Excavation and removal of excess subsoil material from the Cut restoration area in accordance 
with E6.14;
(b)   Supply, placement, and compaction of suitable backfill material in accordance with CW3110;
(c)    Supply and install of Imported Fill material in accordance with CW3110 and E6.15;
(d)   Grading of Cut restoration area in accordance with E6.13;
(e)   Adjustment of Curb Stop Boxes and Adjustment of Valve Boxes in accordance with CW3210;
(f)    Placement of topsoil, finish grading, and rolling in accordance with CW3540;
(g)   Installation, replacement, and/or regrading of patio blocks in accordance with CW3110, 
CW3330, SD-240A;
(h)   Placement of sod in accordance with CW3510, SD-243;
(i)     Placement of seed in accordance with CW3520;
(j)     Placement of hydroseed in accordance with E6.19;
(k)    Watering and rolling sod and seed in accordance with CW3510;
(l)     Site Clean-up;
(m)  Commencement of Thirty (30) Day Maintenance Period in accordance with CW3510, E6.24;
(n)   Maintenance of sod and seed areas in accordance with CW3510, CW3520, E6.25; and
(o)   Termination of sod and seed areas in accordance with CW3510, CW3520, E6.27.
