Brief Description of Work

In particular, the work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following:

This Request for Prequalification (“RFPQ”) is an invitation by BC Housing Management Commission (“BC Housing”), to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Project Technical Consultant Services for various locations in the Lower Mainland, Interior, Northern and Vancouver Island regions of BC. The initial Request for Prequalification # 1070-1819/159 was issued on December 3, 2018. Due to a requirement based on volume, BC Housing is seeking for more proponents to service in the Northern and Interior regions of BC.

Project Technical Consultants will be engaged by BC Housing to review the project design and construction documents for compliance with the BC Housing Design Guidelines and Construction Standards, conduct site inspections during construction and to ensure conformance with the approved construction documents, provide contract administration services on behalf of BC Housing and monitor the work of design team and general contractor for the project. If required, the Project Technical Consultants will also provide preliminary site inspections to determine the feasibility of proposed developments.
