Description

The City of Steinbach is seeking proposals from qualified businesses to provide cleaning services for various City facilities for a three-year term beginning February 1, 2021. Information packages that outline the cleaning requirements may be picked up at the City’s Operations Building located at 51 Millwork Drive on Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 12:00 pm and the hours of 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm or may be requested in a digital format by sending an email request to Mr. Paul Penner at ppenner@steinbach.ca. A contractor must receive a tour of the work sites to familiarize themselves with all premises and information necessary to properly execute the contract. To book an appointment for viewing these sites, please contact Mr. Norman Schellenberg by phone at 204-371-9182 or by email at nschellenberg@steinbach.ca.

The deadline for completing the work tour and submitting proposals is Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. local time. All proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with “City of Steinbach -Cleaning Proposal” and provide the following information:

Company name, address and background
Details of previous experience and customer references
Confirmation of services to be provided
Cost of services per facility, per month
Proof of liability insurance coverage, WCB coverage, WHMIS training, and bonded status.
