It is to be understood that this RFPQ is for the intended purpose of procuring a pool of up to 5 Electrical Contractors (Minimum 3) who will be invited to bid on a single tender and CMH makes no attempt to imply the establishment of an independent Vendor of Record (“VOR”) list. A collective of approved prequalified Respondents selected through the evaluation process of this RFPQ, will be invited to supply a bid for attainment of the single project noted in this RFPQ.

The scope of this project is to install electrical infrastructure to support the future installation of a new heating system within the C Wing of Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH).
The new electrical service will be serviced from the main electrical switchgear and will be run partially through the building then out to an exterior duct bank to reach the loading dock entrance at C-Wing, then re-entering the C-Wing building. Once back in the C-Wing, coordination will be required to re-enter the hospital at the loading dock. Utilization of a decommissioned laundry chute will serve as a chase for electrical service conductors. On each of the 4 floors above the loading dock area, new electrical closets will be constructed to house the electrical distribution equipment. The electrical closest will be constructed at predetermined locations by CMH. The electrical closets on the four floors of the C-Wing will be equipped with 600V and 208V distribution equipment and will be provisioned with breakers for future equipment.

To be considered in the RFPQ process, a Respondent’s Response must be received by the Response Submission Deadline, as set out in the RFPQ Timetable on the cover page.
All requested documents that must be submitted in the Response is identified in Appendix 1- Form of Response.
