Description

This bid opportunity is open to all interested suppliers.
Manitoba Housing requires the services of a contractor to perform smoke detector replacement on fifteen low rise apartment buildings and four townhouses.
The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, remove and replace 898 existing local smoke/CO alarms at project premises, supply 102 additional local alarms for spare parts inventory, supply and install a lockable storage cabinet for spare parts storage. Units will be occupied during construction.
If Bidders wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the Project Manager, Brent Early, at 204-391-3705. Manitoba Housing provides all tenants 48 hours notice prior to entering a unit. All Bidders requesting to view the interior of an occupied site must allow Manitoba Housing time to provide notice to the tenants.
Deadline for questions is November 3, 2020. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at el.delacruz@gov.mb.ca .
Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at Brent.Early@gov.mb.ca The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.
Bid submission deadline is November 10, 2020 at 2:00:00 P.M. CST. This is an e-bid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e-bid requirements.
