Description

The Fort Erie Courthouse is occupied by the Ministry of the Attorney General (MAG).The facility has only one Courtroom and is used 3-4 days per week. The building is a single-story structure, raised one meter above the flat graded site. The envelope is brick and architectural cut stone block, and was constructed in 1995.

Project 1 - (1072226-272320) - Humid Heat Chiller
Includes MUA Ventilation Renewal, Terminal Units, Fan-Coils and Heaters Renewal, Humidification Renewal and Boiler Renewal.

Project 2 - (1072362-272321) - Controls and Instrumentation - BAS Renewal
This upgrade would include complete BAS renewal including new laptop workstation, replacement of room thermostats, terminal control devices, integration of all mechanical equipment and lighting controls. New BAS and sequences of operation shall be in compliance with IO 10-point plan and include energy efficient strategies (free cooling, optimum start/stop, thermostat setback, etc

Project 3 - (1072251-272322) - Domestic Water Distribution Renewal
Backflow prevention device will be installed on each service (domestic and fire protection). Existing 40-gallon tank with 38,000 BTU/hr will be replaced with an instantaneous type hot water tank. All domestic water (hot, cold, recirculation) piping shall be replaced complete with insulation, jacketing and identification. Existing plumbing fixtures to remain and to be reconnected to new domestic water services.

Replacement of the existing roof is part of a separate contract. General contractor shall coordinate with the same roofing company for roofing flashing weather tight etc. after the mechanical equipment replacement is complete.
