Description

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK:
Manitoba Hydro is issuing this Request to seek the submission of competitive Proposals to provide:

A gap analysis between GE Smallworld 4.3 and the latest commercial release as it relates to existing Manitoba Hydro custom code; and,
Following approval of the gap analysis, upgrade to the latest release of the GE Smallworld software, migrate the identified Manitoba Hydro custom code*, and refresh the end user training materials.

*Software licenses are provided under the Manitoba Hydro existing GE Enterprise license; however, the Contractor must have the ability to access the source code provided to Hydro by GE without infringement of GE’s intellectual property rights.

MANDATORY CRITERIA:
All proposals must meet all of the following criteria, in Manitoba Hydro’s determination, in order to proceed to the second stage of the evaluation process:

Proponent must have completed a minimum of two system upgrades similar to the stated requirements of this RFP 041990.

b) Proponent’s proposed staff must have completed a minimum of two system upgrades similar to the stated requirements of this RFP 041990.
