The Wastewater Collection Branch of the City of Ottawa has a requirement for the provision of special sewer cleaning services, on an as and when requested basis, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of RFT No. 15221-91381-T04.
Scope of Work
Any work as a result of this tender shall include but not be limited to the provision of all labour, materials, accessories, equipment, tools, transportation, services and technical competence for performing the following work of all sewers located on City right-of-way and private property within the specified work area in strict accordance with the specifications and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract.
The primary intent of this contract is to ensure sewer cleaning services are readily available to respond to emergency operations, as well as planned work, as described below.
The work performed by the Contractor shall include but not be limited to cleaning of sanitary, storm and combined sewers as well as catch basins, leads and ditch pipes. Planning work is regular day to day activities that will be planned in advance of the work, whereas emergencies will be called upon at the time of the incident.
Period of Contract
The period of Contract shall be from 01 June 2021 to 31 May 2022. All unit prices, hourly and/or monthly rates quoted shall remain FIRM for the initial contract period.
The City reserves the right to exercise up to three (3) additional one-year extensions.
Method of Payment
This contract will be administered and paid by credit card.
