Description

This Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) is issued by Core Project Management (“Core”) on behalf of the Township of Esquimalt (the “Owner”) to invite interested firms to submit their qualifications and relevant experience as it relates to the Construction Management of the new Public Safety Building (the “Project”).

SCOPE OF SERVICES
Pre-Construction Contract:
Throughout the early stages of the design process, the construction manager will be expected to attend project meetings and provide direction with respect to cost, constructability, and schedule for the construction phase of the project. Class A, B, and C cost estimates will be expected as the appropriate stages of design are reached. A detailed scope of services and required deliverables will be made available to shortlisted firms at the RFP stage.

Construction Contract:
During the construction phase, the Construction Manager will be responsible to deliver all of the construction work for a fixed price and a fixed schedule and must have the expertise to manage the construction, coordinate trades’ work, ensure quality of work, cost control, and mitigate delays. A detailed scope of services and required deliverables will be made available to shortlisted firms at the RFP stage.
