RFP 14/20 - End User Devices & Services

The District intends to select one (1) qualified proponent acting as a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) to acquire, provision, deliver, and install End User Computing Devices. The VAR will also be expected to provide service and support as needed for ongoing maintenance and operations including break/fix throughout the device life-cycle through to removal and secure decommissioning when required.

The VAR will work closely and collaboratively with the District team to provide advice and guidance as the District defines and architects technical and service standards for the End User Computing Device Environment. Such advice and guidance may include the provision of software and tools for Device Management, user management and overall management of the End User Computing Device Environment.

The VAR may also provide optional services including consulting and professional services and additional services on an as and when required basis by the District.

Term of Contract: The term of the agreement is to be for a period of five (5) years, with an option in favour of the District to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for two (2) additional terms of up to two (2) years each.
