Description of Requirement:

The CGC has been using Chromebooks as a secure, easy to use and easy to administer mobile device since 2012. These Chrome Enterprise managed devices have been used in Kiosk mode, providing a thin-client style mobile device for accessing CGC Citrix virtual desktop sessions. These Chrome-OS based devices boot quickly, self-patch and provide a seamless platform as a dedicated, pooled or shared device. The CGC has an immediate need for additional mobile devices to support its Business Resumption Plans during the ongoing current COVID-19 pandemic. These devices will allow additional CGC programs and critical services to expand and enhance their ability to return to function and as such are required as soon as possible.

In December 2014, federal, provincial and territorial governments began negotiations to strengthen and modernize the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
