IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.

Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

Given current circumstances and network limitations, some active procurements may be delayed. To stay up to date on the status of specific procurements, please consult Buysandsell.gc.ca.

REQUIREMENT

Fisheries and Oceans Canada department has a requirement for eight (8) Heat Pumps 5HP and its heat exchangers. The required heat exchanger must be optimized to transfer a maximum of heat/cold generated by a Copeland (or equivalent) heating/refrigeration unit. Seawater will circulate within the heat exchanger at a rate of 250 liters/minute. All the goods must be compliant with the technical specifications described in the Annex A - Requirement of the request for proposal.

2. DELIVERY DATE

All the deliverables must be received on or before 14 weeks after contract award.

SECURITY

The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by the CSP, PWGSC.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process.
