Construction of a New Ferry for Tancook Island

A mandatory information session will be provided to prospective proponents to ensure all parties are aware of the details and services expected of them.

The proponent must be in attendance for the entire duration of the information session, late arrival and early departures will not be allowed and will result in ineligibility to bid. Attendance will be completed at the commencement of information session. Once the information session has officially started, as noted by the onsite RFP Contact or delegate, attendees will not be allowed to sign-in. The RFP Contact will indicate when the information session has officially ended; any early departure will be noted on the sign-in sheet.

The meeting will be held at the following location and time:

Date: Friday, November 20th, 2020 at 2:00 PM Atlantic Time

Location: 107 Perrin Drive, Fall River, NS Mechanical building

Proposals will only be accepted from proponents who had a company representative attend in person the information session. Proponents who do not attend the mandatory briefing will be precluded from submitting a proposal. Teleconferencing option will not be available.

Prospective proponents planning to attend the session should register through the Ariba Event Message Board and send the following information to the RFP Contact no later than 4:00 p.m. on the business day prior to the information session

The RFP contact will respond to proponents with instructions on attending the meeting after the registration message is received.

Proponents attending the information session shall conduct themselves in accordance with all COVID19 protocols including but not limited to physical distancing and wearing of masks. Because of the limited room, the number of people permitted for the session will be restricted and attendance will be provided on a first come first serve basis. No more than two attendees from the prospective proponent that will be acting as the prime contractor and team are to be in attendance.
