Description

Through this Request for Bid (RFB), the Ministry of Education is looking to purchase a headless Content Management System (CMS) for the new Curriculum and Resources website that supports a Cloud deployment that is offered under a SaaS (Software as a Service) model.
Scope of Work
The successful Bidders will provide a headless Content Management System (CMS) software license to use as a Software as a Service (SaaS) that supports the requirements set out under this RFB (refer to the section 3.3.2 for detailed CMS functional and non-functional requirements expected to be supported during the Contract period).
The license shall include support services in the following areas in a manner that meets the requirements set out under this RFB:
• Migration services;
• Implementation services;
• Information Technology Service Management;
• Threat and Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Testing; and
• Transitional Services.
It is anticipated that the contract term would be three (3) years with one (1) year possible extension starting April 1, 2021.

The Ministry will hold a Technical Briefing Session. Bidders can attend the session via teleconference:

Time: 13:30 – 15:00 p.m. (Toronto time)

The purpose of the Technical Briefing Session is to provide Bidders with a brief overview of the Deliverables and to address Bidder questions received prior to 17:00 (Toronto time) on December 4, 2020. Although not mandatory, all Bidders are strongly encouraged to take part in the Technical Briefing Session.

Bidders are requested to email the Contact to let the Contact know if they are going to be participating in the Technical Briefing Session no later than December 3, 2020 at 17:00 (Toronto time). Upon confirmation of attendance, teleconference information will be provided via return email.

All questions answered in the Technical Briefing Session will not be considered official until confirmed in writing by written addenda. Bidders will submit their questions in writing via e-mail to the RFB Contact, on or before 17:00 p.m. (Toronto time) December 4, 2020, if they want their questions answered at the Technical Briefing Session.
The responses to questions answered at the Technical Briefing Session will be posted on Ontario Tenders Portal eTenderingSystem as an addendum to this RFB within 72 hours of the Technical Briefing Session.
