RFPQ 32689 - Request for Contractor Pre-Qualification Influent Trunk Main

Through this Request for Contractor Pre-Qualification (RFPQ), the City of Cranbrook (the City)invites Responses from qualified Contractors to demonstrate their qualifications and indicate their interest in providing General Contractor services for the Influent Trunk Main (Project).

The preliminary design of the influent sanitary trunk main captures sewage from the intersection of Highway 3/95, Theatre Road and Victoria Avenue. From this intersection, it is proposed to run north east to Ridgeview Road and then north along Ridgeview Road to where it would intersect Joseph Creek, from here the alignment turns north and towards the existing sewage lagoons where it would discharge into the existing sewage headworks building.

This RFPQ document identifies the anticipated scope of services and quantities, the process for Response submission, the Response evaluation process, the terms and conditions of the RFPQ and information that should be included with each Proponents Response.

Based on the Responses to the RFPQ, the City intends to short-list Contractors to participate in the Tender stage, which would be the final step in the Competitive Selection Process.

This RFPQ is not a tender, an offer, or a Request for Tender and there is no intent by the City to make an offer to any Proponent by issuing this RFPQ.
