Description

Work of this Contract comprises the following:
.1 Replacement of three (3) existing indoor air handling units with new outdoor air handling units. Two new units to be roof mounted, one unit pad mounted at grade. Installation of new outdoor gas meter. Demolition and disposal of existing units, and all related mechanical, structural and electrical. Structural, architectural and electrical modifications to suit unit installations. Miscellaneous roofing and envelope work to accommodate installation of new air handling units.
.2 Once the Contract has been awarded Contractor to request air handling unit shop drawings from the supplier, to avoid delays to the project.
.3 Demolition of the existing equipment to begin July 1, 2021.
.4 Starting September 1, HVAC needs to be functional during school hours, and work will need to be completed outside of school hours during the week, and weekend.
.5 Student Safety is a top priority.
.6 This is not a LEED project.
