Description

The supply, crushing and stockpiling of the following:

80,000 tonnes of Gravel with an option for 20,000 additional tonnes in 2021, to the following designation and quantities:
50,000 tonnes of Designation 4:20 crushed gravel,
20,000 tonnes of Designation 4:40 crushed gravel
10,000 tonnes of Designation 6:80 crushed Gravel

An option for the same in 2022 and 2023.

The Contractor is responsible for insuring that the gravel meets the Designation 4 Class 20 specifications, Designation 4 Class 40 specifications, and the Designation 6 Class 80 specifications. The Contractor, at his own expense, is required to test the pile using a qualified tester in increments of no less than 4000 tonnes and provide the County with sieve test results. Testing shall be performed by the County or its designate, at a frequency deemed necessary by the Public Works Manager. The Contractor shall adjust and modify aggregates as required to meet specification requirements. The County reserves the right to reject any material that does not meet the specifications.
