PURPOSE:
The City of Moncton is seeking Request for Proposals for the provision of a Corporate Purchasing Card (P-Card) program offered by a Canadian financial institution for use by various operating and administrative Departments within the Corporation of the City of Moncton.
The City is seeking a P-Card program that will maximize its value through leading-edge technology, superior customer service, streamlined services, robust financial benefits, and low program operating costs.

ELIGIBILITY OF PROPONENTS:
Proposals will be accepted from reputable, established commercial credit card providers licensed to operate in Canada and are capable of offering a Corporate Purchasing Card Program that is widely accepted internationally, with a strong presence in the North American marketplace.

PROPOSED CONTRACT TERM:
The initial term of the agreement shall be for a five (5) year term, commencing from the date of award. The City may exercise an option to renew the agreement for an additional five (5) year period, if it is in the City's best interest to do so. Firm program costs shall be provided in the Proponent's RFP submission for the initial five (5) year contract term.
At the end of the initial five (5) year contract term, the program costs, incentives and benefits package shall be subject to negotiations between the City of Moncton and the successful Proponent for the optional five (5) year contract extension period.
The option to extend the agreement(s) for an additional five (5) year term shall also be subject to mutual consent of the part of the Proponent(s), provided that the Proponent(s) is not in default hereunder.
