BCLC has a quality assurance ("QA") group that is part of the business technology division, with a mandate to test in-house development as well as vendor solutions and integration for the respective lines of business. The QA group is responsible for testing products, solutions and services that are implemented with, and run on, a wide range of technology. All QA teams share the same QA practices, processes, tools and other resources. The group is also responsible for the release and deploy management as well as the tool support, in particular test management tool administration.
The purpose of this RFPQ is to select and establish a roster of pre-qualified vendors (the "Roster"), who have the expertise, knowledge, and experience in delivering QA services to give BCLC the ability to flexibly augment and scale the capacity of the QA team. BCLC will be interested in Proponents who can provide QA testing services in the following areas of expertise:
1.2.1. Performance Testing Services - BCLC is looking for a full service solution in the field of performance testing. Proponents will need to demonstrate significant expertise, knowledge and experience related to delivering performance testing services.
1.2.2. Automated Testing Services - BCLC requires Proponents to be able to provide test leads and test engineers that can perform test automation services to augment our automation team's capacity and expertise. The Proponents will need to demonstrate expertise with current tool sets and automation approaches as well as the ability to integrate well into the customer's environment.
1.2.3. Manual Testing Services - BCLC uses test service providers to augment capacity of the internal test team by adding testing engineers and test leads on a project by project basis. Proponents will need to demonstrate significant expertise, knowledge and experience related to providing manual testing services in a geographically distributed environment.
1.2.4. QA Tool Administration - BCLC is interested in leveraging a partnership to execute functions that support our primary QA capabilities including, but not limited to test management tool administration, integration and reporting.
