SPECIAL STUDIES AND ANALYSIS
Amendment #1
See following clarifications suuplied to an interested party:
1) Is the final master plan document to be delivered in both French and English and if yes, will the Town of Shediac assist with translation?
The final master plan document can be delivered in English.
2) Does the Town of Shediac currently have an online engagement platform such as Bang the Table?
We do not have an online engagement platform.
3) Will Town of Shediac staff be available to assist in French during public consultation if necessary?
We will be present at the public consultation, but would rather that the consultation be lead in both languages by the consultant in order to be fair in the evaluation of the proposals.
4) Does the Town of Shediac have a preference of in-person meetings or virtual meetings if Provincial restrictions are removed, i.e. back to a 'Yellow' designation?
We do not have a preference as long as we get the people to engage and assure that everybody that wants to participate has a chance to do so without restrictions. We do have a capacity of 50 people in our large room at the Multipurpose Centre and then the capacity goes down in the break out rooms. Each participant would need to be 6 feet apart unless they live in the same household as we are not able to determine everyone's bubble.
5) Is there a location map outlining the project boundary or PID(s) available for reference?
PID : 00865915
6) Please clarify the level anticipated for estimates with respect to operation and maintenance. Will the Town of Shediac share, with the successful proponent, information from their other parks such as: time for tasks, equipment used, staffing requirements, etc.
The Town wants to know the cost to operate and maintain this new infrastructure and what expenses will need to be added to our yearly budget. TOS will share it's information with the successful consultant in order to compare with our other municipal infrastructures.
7) Please confirm if the project budget identified includes or excludes taxes.
The budget identified excludes taxes
