Description

The City of Edmonton is looking for a design team that has a high emphasis on design excellence. The team will develop, design and deliver the new McDougall Hill Bridge to be located on the River Valley’s edge of the downtown district. The bridge is anticipated to be a signature infrastructure that will be a highly visible addition to the downtown skyline and landscape. The bridge will serve as a critical connection for pedestrians and cyclists between the 100 Street Funicular and the McDougall Hill Lookout to the west. The bridge will not only function as a transportation corridor but will also fit the context of its prominent location.
