Description

The University of Alberta Botanic Garden (formerly the Devonian Botanic Garden) is a stunning 240-acre property located approximately 15 minutes southwest of Edmonton, with cultivated gardens and plant collections, indoor showhouses and extensive natural areas. The U of A Botanic Garden is an award winning visitor attraction, open to visitors seasonally, with spring and summer months bringing in the largest attendance.

One offering that has proven to be very successful is the Twilight Picnic Experience. After a successful first season with Twilight Picnics, the University of Alberta Botanic Garden plans to offer the picnics again, and is seeking a professional catering company to supply gourmet charcuterie-style picnic boxes, featuring a wide selection of high quality, locally sourced meats, cheeses, nuts, vegetables, fruits, breads, crackers and sweets, for resale at the Garden during the evenings, June through September.

There is potential for a test-run near the end of May, and the possibility of extension into October, depending on the weather.
