Description

Installation of a prefabricated stainless-steel shaft cap, removal of historical mine waste and fabrication and installation of educational plaques at the former Rond Lake Mine (near Fort Hope, ON).
Scope of Work
• Transport all equipment and materials required for the installation and the artifact removal
• Install the stainless-steel shaft cap over the mine shaft at Rond Lake to the specifications included in the Detailed Drawings and the Inspection and Testing plan.
• Develop, fabricate and install educational plaques with the Eabametoong First Nation community for the larger mining artifacts.
• Removal and proper disposal of historic mine artifacts i.e. empty 45-gallon steel drums, steel casings, pipes, rails, tubing, pails, buckets, boxes to a licenced offsite waste management facility identified by the vendor.
