21-049 - SiteReady BC e-Training Licenses

BC Infrastructure Benefits Inc. (BCIB) has published this Notice of Intent to the public indicating our preference of the following vendor in the supply and delivery of SiteReady BC licenses, a foundational safety training program required for all BC worksites with a Community Benefits Agreement overlay.

Name of vendor: BC Construction Safety Alliance
Value: $16,000.00 per year

BC Construction Safety Alliance is the only company that can supply SiteReady BC e-learning and certification. SiteReadyBC is designed to meet the obligations under BC's OHSR Part 3.23, requiring employers to provide key safety information to construction workers entering BCIB's workforce. In addition to this comprehensive safety training, SiteReadyBC also provides contraction workers specific training and certification on the identification of controlled products under WHMIS-2015, a required component of ensuring safer worksites.

Objections to this notice must be done in writing before the Closing Time of this notice, must be in writing (sent to procurement), and specifically address the following requirements:

- Provide curriculum as recognized by WorkSafeBC;
- Curriculum must indicate how it meets BC's OHSR Part 3.23;
- Price/per unit to be equal or less than $40;
- Must be an online course delivery that is mobile and desktop friendly;
- Does not need a "Flash" software download;
- Can provide direct technical support to workers; and
- Business account can be managed online platform with the ability to receive regular updates on license usage and user progress.
