2021-14 - RFP - Eavestrough Replacement for Water Treatment Plant and Arena

The Town of Drumheller invites Proposals for Eavestrough Replacement on the Water Treatment Plant and the Memorial Arena. We require the eavestroughs to be replaced at the Water Treatment Plant and the downspouts and eavestroughs replaced at the Memorial Arena as follows:

Memorial Arena – 20 - 1 Avenue West

All existing eavestrough must have a new 6-inch continuous eavestrough with standard hangers and new 3x4 enclosed downspouts installed.

 3 black - 3x4 enclosed downspouts, 18 feet 6 inches long

 1 black – 3x4 enclosed downspouts, 6 feet 5 inches long

Water Treatment Plant - 2490 South Railway Avenue

 Only the North and South sides of the Water Treatment Plant have and require eavestroughs.

 The length of both North and South side eavestroughs are 205 feet long.

 There are 4 downspouts on the North side and 4 downspouts on the South side.

 North Side: Roof to East ground is 16 feet and Roof to West ground is 28 feet.

 South Side: Roof to ground is 16 feet.

The contactor will be responsible for the following pertaining to these jobs:

 Mileage, hotels, meals and traveling expenses
 All labour, material and facia if required.
 Ladders and/or lifts as required.
 Following all OH&S codes and regulations and safety barriers.

A Mandatory Site Visit is required at both sites at 1:00pm on May 19, 2021. The tour will start on the East side of the Memorial Arena located at 20 – 1 Avenue West, between the Curling Rink, in the vicinity of the World’s largest Dinosaur.
