Description

The Municipality of the District of Barrington recently had an assessment done of the Brass Hill Wastewater Treatment facility, from this assessment upgrades were recommended. The upgrades will be split in 2 phases, the first of which to be completed this year. Phase 1 is the replacement of the secondary clarifier and installation of a mechanical screen at the head works. Phase 2 will see the replacement of the aeration equipment in the oxidization ditch and installation of a sludge management and dewatering system.

We are currently accepting tenders from qualified engineering firms that will provide preliminary designs, detailed designs and tender services required for phase 1 of the upgrades.

The purpose of this Tender is to solicit bids from various candidate organizations, conduct a fair and extensive evaluation based on criteria listed herein, and select the candidate who best represents the direction the Municipality of Barrington.
