Description

CHC seeks the services of up to three (3) qualified service providers (“Successful Proponents”) to provide professional snow and ice removal and control services, and timely Grounds Keeping services (“Services”), at various CHC managed properties throughout The City of Calgary.

The assignment of work will be done by CHC based on district or one proponent for the entire City of Calgary. It is anticipated that each Successful Proponent will be awarded one (1) CHC district (West, East or South).

Depending upon the number and quality of bids received, CHC reserves the right to award less than three (3) Proponents. See Evaluated of Rated Criteria in Appendix A, including minimum proposal threshold scores to be considered for award.

The anticipated volume of work over is dependent on the amount and frequency of snowfall that occurs at CHC managed properties as well as the grounds keeping schedule provided by CHC, as per Section 4 - Deliverables of Work. There are approximately 139 CHC managed properties that require the Services regularly throughout the year. These properties are listed on Appendix H - Price Form and Price Breakdown.

CHC will be offering an optional pre-bid meeting for interested bidders. Any bidders that are interested in attending the virtual meeting are to email brent.laloge@calgary.ca with the name and email address of the attendee and an invitation will be sent to that email address. The virtual meeting will be held using the Microsoft Teams application.

This meeting agenda will cover general RFP expectations, such as scope, evaluation criteria, and mandatory bid requirements and will allow time for bidders to ask questions
