IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Western Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.

Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

Statement of Requirement: Department of National Defence, Detachment Dundurn, SK has a requirement for a Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO. Work under this Standing Offer shall comprise the supply of all sheep, labour, tools, equipment, transportation, water, predator control and supervision necessary to complete targeted vegetation control within CFAD Compound, 17 Wing RP Ops Detachment Dundurn, Saskatchewan). The Standing Offer will be effective for a one (1) year period with four (4) 1-year option periods.

Security Requirements: There are security requirements associated with the requirement of the Standing Offer.

Anticipated migration to an e-Procurement Solution (EPS): Canada is currently developing an online EPS for faster and more convenient ordering of goods and services.
