The University of New Brunswick (UNB) is inviting firms to submit a proposal under the terms described herein, for "Research Commons-Video Wall System Supply and Install" for Harriet Irving Library - Third Floor, located on the UNB Fredericton Campus.
Project includes the supply and installation services of new Video Wall System for the newly renovated Research Commons.The video wall will consist of 15 LCD panels arranged 5 across and 3 high, with displays being 55" diagonal in size. LCD mounts and video wall processor are also needed.
***Note - Vendors are to include 16 LCD displays in pricing per Page 14 of the attached RFP Document. ***
Proposals shall be in accordance with Instructions to Bidders, page 5.

SITE ACCESS:
Access to the Harriet Irving Library is restricted as this building is currently under construction. All requests to tour the site are to be directed to the project contact person. All efforts will be made to accommodate requests within normal business hours (Monday to Friday); however, access cannot be guaranteed. Pending the status of the current COVID-19 situation, all access to the site will have to reviewed and assessed as required.
INSURANCE:
The successful proponent shall maintain Comprehensive General Liability Insurance as well as Automotive Insurance for an amount no less than $2,000,000.00 (two million dollars) per occurrence, for the duration of the Contract and any extension. Contractors are also expected to remain in good standing with Worksafe NB prior to award. UNB will request the proponent to provide evidence of this good standing prior to award of the contract and at any other time UNB requires.
This RFP will be conducted in accordance with the New Brunswick Purchasing Act and Regulations as well as the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
The University is not bound to accept the lowest price of any tender and reserves the right to reject any or all tenders for whatever reason or reasons the University deems proper at its own discretion.
