Following the advice of the Provincial Health Officer and in support of the established social distancing practices, the Selkirk Natural Resource Office will no longer be providing in-person public service.

Tenders can still be mailed, couriered, or dropped off in the mail slot at the main entrance of the building (Nelson Office ONLY). Tender opening will be conducted in Private and total prices will not be made public until after the contract is signed with the Successful Bidder. Unverified results identifying ranking only will be posted to BC Bid in a timely manner.

The successful contractor will be required to confirm that they have an Infection Prevention and Control Plan in place that complies with and adheres to the Guidelines for Silviculture Worker Camps During the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Sealed tenders for the following Manual Brushing and Weeding in the Kootenay Lake field Unit will be received by the Timber Sales Manager, BC Timber Sales, Kootenay Business Area, 1907 Ridgewood Road, Nelson, BC, V1L 6K1 up to 11:00 AM (local time) on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at which time tender submissions will be opened in public. Late submissions will not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder unopened.
