TPR2020003 - Town of Peace River Aeration Equipment Supply

.1 The Town of Peace River (Town) is inviting proposals for the supply Fine-Bubble
Membrane Diffuser Aeration System Equipment (the "Goods") and any ancillary services
(the "Services") in order to supply, design, fabricate, ship, integrate, and commission
this equipment at the Peace River Wastewater Treatment Plant in Peace River, Alberta.

.2 The purpose of this Request for Proposals ("RFP") process is to select a vendor to enter
into a supply agreement with the Town for the supply, design, fabrication, shipment,
onsite integration, and commissioning of packaged aeration system equipment,
including piping, pressure monitoring system, and blow-off system.

.3 The Equipment Supply Agreement will include provisions for the Town to cancel the
Equipment Supply Agreement in the event sufficient funding for the project is not
approved. The Town will obtain the services of a General Construction Contractor to be
selected and retained for the construction and development of the Aeration System
project. Further details about the Goods and any Services required by the Town are set
out in these RFP Documents. The Town has retained M2 Engineering (M2eng Alberta
Ltd.) ("M2 Engineering") as the engineering consultant for the Aeration System project.

.4 This RFP is not a tender/bid and is not subject to the laws of competitive bidding. No bid
contract or agreement is created by submission of a proposal.

.5 The Town is not responsible for any costs incurred by proponents in preparing their
proposals, attending any meetings or interviews with the Owner/Engineer, making any
presentations to the Owner/Engineer in connection with their proposals, or otherwise
incurred in connection with this RFP process.
