Description

A storm water management facility (Storm Water Pond) located in the Towns' North Business Park has an active slope failure on the south and west slopes. The south slope failure retrogressed into private/industrial land and affected two lots. Additionally, this failure is occurring near a highly used dog park, quite popular to the residents of the Town of Stony Plain. The Town of Stony Plain is seeking a qualified, professional engineering consultant to complete a detailed design for the relocation and conversion of a storm water management facility (SWMF) to a new wetland in the Towns North Business Park. The relocation of this pond is due to a slope stability failure that is negatively affecting local businesses and Town infrastructure. The total value of this project budget is $250,000.
