Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified vendors to establish a contract to provide a mass notification system for the Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) as part of the SCRD’s emergency preparedness and emergency communication strategy. This system will be used by the public, mostly residents of the SCRD, but also visitors to the Sunshine Coast, to provide critical contact information about themselves, to be used for emergency management planning, response, and recovery activities. The emergency notification system must minimally support notification via SMS, email, and voice.
