Description

This project continues the City’s efforts on increasing accessibility in four existing parks which currently have pea gravel surfacing and will be upgraded to a poured-in-place rubber fall surface. In addition, the existing rubber surfacing at the Henderson Park playground has reached the end of its effective life and needs to be replaced in order to maintain adequate fall protection and remain accessible. The total surface area of all five playgrounds is approximately 19,000 square feet. All work under this contract must be compliant with the latest edition of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) playground standards.
